The city of Guadalajara, capital of the province of the same name, lies almost in the centre of Spain, 54 kilometres north-east of Madrid and barely 30 minutes drive from Madrid-Barajas International Airport.

By car
The main access roads are:
- A2 Highway Madrid-Barcelona, kilometres 54.
- R2 Toll Motorway Madrid – Guadalajara.
Parking in the city: Adoratrices, El Carmen, Dávalos, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de Santo Domingo.
By bus
ALSA bus company provides a regular service between Madrid and Guadalajara:
- From Madrid to Guadalajara, buses depart from the bus station (Intercambiador) in Avenida de América (Metro Avenida de América).

By train
The Spanish Railway Company RENFE provides rail services.

By plane
Madrid-Barajas International Airport is 35 kilometres from Guadalajara. By road from Madrid Airport to Guadalajara: either take Madrid-Barcelona A2 Highway or Madrid - Guadalajara R2 toll motorway.
