Tourism observatories are an essential tool for any tourist destination, as they effectively outline the visitor profile and show visitors' expectations and degree of satisfaction. As such, they are an efficient tool to enable private and public organizations to identify suitable strategies, projects and tourist activities to be implemented.
The Guadalajara Tourism Observatory is developed through a series of personal interviews to our visitors in Spanish and English, carried out at different points of interest in the city, such as at the monuments belonging to the public art programme Guadalajara Abierta, at the Municipal Tourism Management Office, or even on the street.
Once the data has been collected, the information is stored in computer data bases that allow us to study and interpret systematically and objectively all the information. These results are analyzed every quarter and every half-year, in both absolute and percentage terms.
The corresponding newsletters may be consulted annually, in the year following the period analized.
