Palace of La Cotilla. 17th century

The Palace of La Cotilla was first built in the 17th century, as revealed to this day by the columns in the courtyard, which are in Alcarreño style.

At the end of the 19th century, the owners were the Marqueses of Villamejor, Ana de Torres and Ignacio de Figueroa, the parents of the Count of Romanones. The Chinese Room dates from that period, and boasts to this day its original Qing dynasty style wallpaper. This style is rare in Spain, making this example exceptionally valuable.
